KymoGen is moving forward with the development of a device that will harness the energy of waves. Research and design work has been ongoing, while the first unit should be complete by July of 2015 immediately followed by in water testing. KymoGen is moving forward with the development of a device that will harness the energy of waves.

Research and design work has been ongoing, while the first unit should be complete by July of 2015 immediately followed by in water testing.

Production units are expected to be built for the public in September. Significant installations around the world are expected by August of 2016.

The KymoGen team has also launched promotional video which describes how the concept of of wave energy power generation works.

“There is an amazing amount of power available in waves and we want to make sure the public learns about how our system works,” said David Hartmann, one of KymoGen’s co-founders.
