Anholt offshore wind farm export cable has been connected, said the Danish grid operator, Energinet.dk.
However, the cable is still not bringing the electricity from 400MW wind farm to shore as it is undergoing testing at the moment.
The damaged piece of cable is being studied in the laboratory in order to determine the cause of a malfunction.
As the second half of the repair of the damaged cable was performed faster than expected, Energinet.dk expects to put the cable back in operation on Monday. Although, the schedule might change.
The company also said it is too early to say what the repair costs are going to be.
