Nordic Yards has appointed a new member to the Management Board, Hans Jürgen Wio, who will be responsible for sales in offshore wind sector.
Wio, former senior vice president and CEO of the Power Plants at MAN, has many years of management and executive experience in the energy sector. He was twenty years in senior positions at Siemens, including seven years as CEO of Siemens Energy in Russia.
In his new position, he will be responsible for the distribution of DC and AC platforms.
“Nordic Yards has a remarkable track record in the offshore segment. No other shipyard in the world has built four DC converter platforms, with three of them already installed. I am looking forward to the exciting challenges on board Nordic Yards,” said Hans Jürgen Wio.
