Albwardy Marine Engineering/Damen Shipyards Sharjah has been certified by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance for aligning its safety and environment management system with internationally recognized standards. (ISO 14001:2004 AND OHSAS 18001:2007)
A Lloyd’s audit team extensively audited the yards management system, implementation and awareness among its employees and other people working at the yards locations in Sharjah, Dubai and Fujairah.
Managing Director Lars Seistrup comments that this is again a step forward in Damen’s focus on safety, quality and sustainability. “We are proud to have reached this ambitious exercise in a short time frame. This demonstrates the determination, knowledge and skills of the people working for AME/DSS.”
