ELA Container Offshore GmbH delivered seven Living Quarters and two Stairway Containers to TAGU Tiefbau GmbH Unterweser in Oldenburg. The containers will be used for the Gemini offshore wind project located 55 kilometers north of the island of Schiermonnikoog in the Dutch North Sea.
Each ELA Living Quarter generates living space for two people with a shared sanitary unit and is additionally equipped with high quality LCD televisions.
TAGU GmbH carries out the cable transport and installation in the shallow water area. The main equipment used in the procedure is the Vetag 8 cable lay barge, on which the accommodation containers will be installed for the employees.
Project execution started in March 2015 and is expected to finish in summer 2015.
