Cardinal marker buoys around the Gwynt y Môr offshore wind farm were removed by the THV Galatea.
The THV Galatea has removed eight Gwynt y Môr field cardinal perimeter buoys. At the same time, the Gwynt y Môr South buoy was moved to a new permanent position.
After recovery of these buoys, the wind farm exhibits permanent aids to navigation.
Also, Gwynt y Môr Met Mast’s fog signal has been switched off and the light sequence changed to flash yellow every 5 seconds.
