International law firm Clifford Chance has appointed 25 new partners, including three in Amsterdam.
These appointments reflect the rapidly evolving markets in which the new partners are active. They advise clients on areas including corporate governance, risk, antitrust, high yield and financial regulations and sectors such as energy and raw materials, infrastructure, TMT, healthcare, real estate, transportation and financial services.
Hein Tonnaer, one of the newly appointed to Amsterdam office, works in Banking & Finance and focuses on project finance, asset-based financing and export financing. He has a strong track record in renewable energy, in particular regarding transactions in the wind sector. Recent large-scale projects in which he was involved were the Gemini offshore wind farm, the NOP Agro Wind wind farm and the National Energy Saving Fund.
