Deepwater Wind, the developer of the first U.S. offshore wind farm, has published videos of the construction phase launch.
The kick-off was celebrated on April 27 at Specialty Diving Services, a company in charge of manufacturing components of the wind turbine foundations.
The Block Island offshore wind farm, comprising five Alstom’s Haliade 150 6 MW wind turbines, is expected to become operational in the fourth quarter of 2016.
