The last foundation at Kentish Flats Extension has been installed late last week.
The piling was scheduled to take place at around 8 o’clock in the evening but due to challenging soil conditions the installation was postponed for 23:00.
GeoSea’s offshore wind installation vessel Neptune commenced the installation of 15 foundations earlier this month. The next phase of the project is cabling work.
“We are already installing the array cables,” said the company in a statement.
Cable laying barge, Nostag 10 , is on the site carrying out array cables installation.
After completing preliminary jetting works at the site, the second cable laying vessel, BoDo Installer, is now installing the export cables.
