Manor Marine are taking their new vessel ‘London Titan’ to display at Seawork International in Southampton on June 16-18th in order to introduce the new multi-purpose ‘workhorse’ to other sectors including offshore wind.

Portland based Manor Marine has recently completed the build of the new multi-purpose maintenance vessel for the Port of London Authority (PLA).

With a displacement of more than 600 tonnes, 36.5 metre length, 13.5 metre beam and total installed power of 2300 kW, the ‘London Titan’ has two identical folding cranes which are capable of lifting loads of up to 25 tonnes.

The renewables division, Manor Renewable Energy Ltd., are already working in the offshore wind sector providing services such as external power units for the offshore wind installations. Such a vessel will enable this company to widen their scope further offshore including commissioning and O&M work.

Manor Marine now has the build capability to construct a 45 metre vessel and has attracted several parties from the offshore wind sector who have expressed an interest in this next level of multi-purpose design. This design will feature accommodation for offshore workers, both daughter craft and a walk to work system, complemented by an adaptive deck layout for ROV, survey and diving operations.
