Euskal Forging has recently won the contract to fully supply flanges for 116 foundations that will be installed on the Rampion offshore wind farm. The foundations will be manufactured and supplied by SIF GROUP BV.
Under the contract, Euskal Forging will roll, heat treat, machine and deliver to the client 348 flanges, comprising 3 types (top and bottom transition pieces, as well as monopiles) starting at 5.000mm of external diameter.
The Rampion 400 MW project, developed by energy company E.ON in partnership with the UK Green Investment Bank plc (GIB), will be built off the Sussex coast in the UK.
