Aarnout Kant has taken over the Winergy management. He succeeds Stefan Tenbrock, who at the same time takes over the management of the Siemens Mechanical Drives Business Unit as CEO.
Kant has been with the company for 24 years and since 2014 has been manager of Strategy and Marketing at Winergy. Like Tenbrock, Kant originally was employed as a mechanical engineer with the gear unit manufacturer A. Friedrich Flender AG (now Siemens AG), who founded Winergy in 2001.
Among other things, Kant managed between 2003 and 2008 the large industrial gear unit subsegment at the location in Voerde, Germany. After that he was the Regional Business Unit manager of Mechanical Drives in the USA until 2013.
