Bluestream Offshore has been awarded the Dutch Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Clearance Certificate by TÜV Netherlands, the company announced via social media.
“The development of numerous, mainly offshore, wind projects which are often planned on relatively near shore locations, see project developers facing uncharted territory with a high possibility of Unexploded Ordnance,” Bluestream says on its website.
The company has a special branch for UXO detection, inspection and, where required, demolition.
Other fields in which Bluestream works are: inspection, repair & maintenance, remote intervention, construction & installation, drill support, decommissioning, and non-destructive testing.
