Sabella will try to connect its D10 tidal turbine with French Ushant island again next week, the company told Tidal Energy Today news site.

At the end of June, Sabella reported issues with the cable connection since the MV Palembang was unsuitable for the work. Now, the company said it will give it a go with a more suitable vessel, thus it is in discussions with Bourbon over using the Argonaut tugboat to connect the cable jumper with the export cable. The vessel has already been used on this project in May, when the subsea cable was laid.

The cable connection work will take place between July 23 and 27, during neap tide, and is expected to last for 2-4 days, Tidal Energy Today reported.
