Atlantis Resources reported yesterday that all of the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) works for MeyGen Phase 1A tidal project have now been completed on time for the cable installation.
Four bore holes were drilled at a distance of 570 meters underground to within 2m of their exit target offshore.
The installation of the offshore submarine cable can now commence during the summer.
The HDD work package has been completed on time and with no reported incidents or injuries, the company informed.
