Offshore WIND’s photo of the day: Seajacks Scylla with all four legs installed.

The offshore wind farm installation vessel has been fitted with all four legs at Samsung Heavy Industries.

Scylla is outfitted with 105 metre long legs that have the ability to install components in water depths of up to 65m. The vessel also features a Huisman 1500t leg-encircling crane, incorporates useable deck space in excess of 5000m2, and has over 8000t of the available variable load.

The delivery is scheduled for March 2016 followed by the first load out of 67 monopiles at the base port of Eemshaven in the Netherlands in April 2016.
