Northwest Maritime has taken delivery of its new crew/guard vessel “NW Thunder”.
The vessel have earlier been operated by the Norwegian Navy and will be available for charter ex Bergen port as from 3rd of August.
CEO, Steffen Sørdal, is saying that after having followed the emerging offshore wind market closely for the last 12 months, the company have decided to increase their fleet with a versatile vessel which can offer a combination of crew transfer and guard services to the industry.
Nortwest Maritime is planning further expansion of crew and guard vessels this year, and is aiming to additional 3-5 vessels over the next coming months.
