Multiseis Programmes Ltd, a Lowestoft-based company that develops software for the marine seismic industry, has expanded and moved its main UK operations to coastal renewables hub OrbisEnergy.
Its four full time UK staff will work in OrbisEnergy, while its three part-time administration staff will remain in its original Lowestoft office. Multiseis’ Norwegian sister company employs three full-time employees in Trondheim.
Dave Boulton , who set up MultiSeis Programmes Ltd more than a decade ago, said its versatile project management software – particularly for production, timing and event logging/reporting – could be used further in the environmental industry, especially as it came with tracking software.
“We have recently become involved with a scientific institution, seeking fundamental knowledge about the origin, evolution and future of the natural world, as well as a cable laying company.
“We also plan to expand the marine mammal observation features currently available for Marine Mammal observations. Being in OrbisEnergy gives us the chance to investigate other opportunities.”
“It is busier than other places I looked at and offered more opportunity to network. The environmental industry is something we would like to move further into.”
