Today, two subsidiaries of Atlas Professionals, South West Surveys (SWS) and Geomotive, will become official Atlas offices.

The offices based in Exeter (UK) and Vic (Spain) have been a part of Atlas Professionals for several years, expanding Atlas’ scope in Offshore Management & QC, Marine Environmental, QHSE and the Seismic and Electromagnetic markets.

As specialists in offshore consultancy, SWS specialise in the provision of a variety of personnel for the offshore industry, from client representatives to project managers. SWS have a focus in a number of industry sectors, including Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy and Telecoms. SWS will change to Atlas’ Offshore Management & QC office.

Managing Director of South West Surveys, Damian Francis , said: “The synergy between SWS and Atlas has been very successful over the past four years; we have continued to build and improve our services together whilst maintaining the independent consultancy nature of our business. I am looking forward to this continued growth in these challenging times and welcome the unified brand to further strengthen our niche market position.”

Geomotive is a provider of skilled personnel to the Geophysical, Electromagnetic and Seismic industries. The office also specialises in the Marine Environmental sector and the provision of marine mammal observers and passive acoustic monitoring. Geomotive will become Atlas’ Seismic and Electromagnetic office.

“Adopting the Atlas brand will allow us to benefit from the strong reputation that Atlas has in closely related sectors such as survey and marine,” said Director of Geomotive Neil Grosse . “The unified brand will give us further reach and greater opportunities for our field personnel and clients in these difficult market conditions.”

Atlas Professionals acquired the remaining shares of SWS and Geomotive in 2013, fusing these sectors to Atlas’ ever growing network.

Managing Director Marcel Burghouwt stated: “Through the collaboration of our subsidiaries and specific acquisitions, Atlas Professionals has been able to grow and strengthen its presence within the Energy and Marine industries. As ever, Atlas shall remain committed to continuing business as before, offering quality and maintaining a personal approach in all that we do.”
