Wärtsilä Corporation announced today that it expanded into a new market segment, offering a comprehensive package of seals, bearings and associated solutions to hydropower installations and industrial plants.
Wärtsilä’s offering consists of seals, bearings and associated equipment for hydro installations, including hydropower, tidal power and offshore wind.
These are complemented with a wide range of services from repairs and fabrications to underwater services. Wärtsilä also has a strong portfolio of products, components and associated services for the industrial sector. The focus is primarily on the supply of seals and bearings as well as providing services like retrofits, component reconditioning or refurbishments.
