Azerbaijan is moving forward with its plans to develop an offshore wind farm in Caspian Sea .
Namely, the plans for the 200MW offshore wind project have been submitted to the Azerbaijan government, writes Trend News Agency.
The project, worth AZN 450-500 million (EUR 390-433 million), has attracted interest from German, Chinese and investors from Arab countries.
The project is expected to be completed by 2021.
Azerbaijan has set plans to increase the share of renewable energy in total energy by 20% by 2020.
