London-based specialist management consultancy Baringa Partners has appointed Dr. Christoph Müser to support the growth of the company’s energy practice in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Dr. Müser will take up his role in Baringa’s Düsseldorf office, which was established in 2011, in Germany’s energy and industrial centre. His network in the utilities industry and experience in energy consulting are expected to align with Baringa’s existing Energy Advisory plan to strengthen the position in the German speaking countries.
Dr. Müser’s career has spanned 20 years in management consulting, managing both local and international projects. He joins Baringa from Pöyry Management Consulting, where he held the role of a Managing Director, and he was previously a partner in Roland Berger’s energy practice.
In this position, he was responsible for the management consulting business in Germany, leading a team of 35 consultants. He was also in charge of the firm’s global energy grid and smart energy business. Dr. Müser served clients including E.ON, Vattenfall, RheinEnergie and numerous Stadtwerke with a broad variety of consulting services.
