Kristian Ravn has been appointed as Managing Director of Universal Foundation, a Fred. Olsen related company.
Ravn has joined Universal Foundation, the engineering and installation service provider for the Mono Bucket foundation, from the position of Managing Director at Semco Maritime Norway, an EPCI-contractor for the offshore Oil and Gas sector.
“I have a strong belief in the Mono Bucket and have been impressed with the professionalism and drive of Universal Foundation during the years of development, design and testing of this innovative product, ” Kristian Ravn said, and added: “I am sure that the technology will provide a strong contribution in bringing down costs for offshore wind farms, at the same time reducing risks and environmental impact.”
