The hull of the first X-STERN® vessel arrived at Ulstein Verft on 3 January, 2016.
The vessel is one of the two X-STERN® Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) currently being constructed for Bernhard Schulte Offshore in Germany.
The hull has been produced at the Crist yard in Poland, and will be completed at Ulstein Verft in Norway, with planned delivery in the second quarter of 2016. The vessel will work at the Gemini offshore wind farm in the Netherlands for Siemens Wind Power Service.
The two sister vessels are the first X-STERN® vessels to date, the X-STERN being a further development of the X-BOW®.
