Gardline’s new vessel MV Bittern will be undergoing sea trials in Great Yarmouth this week prior to her launch.

Once the sea trials are complete, the 23m vessel will be launched and delivered to Ramsgate and begin operational trials at the London Array offshore wind farm before heading back to Great Yarmouth to begin work on her first contract.

Phil Durrant , Managing Director of Gardline Environmental Limited, said: “We are very excited to see the MV Bittern in action and a new capability added to our existing fleet; feedback from clients during the build phase has been universally positive meaning that the vessel will go on to contract shortly after she is launched.”

The vessel was designed by Global Marine Design, with purpose built Z-Bows and has a 20m 2 foredeck with a carrying capacity of 5 tonnes.
