OrbisEnergy launched a GBP 6 million worth SCORE fund today at the SNS2016, the Southern North Sea offshore energy conference at the Royal Norfolk Showground.
The funding, made available from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is set to help eligible SMEs develop new ideas, technologies and innovative solutions for East Anglia’s offshore renewable energy industry, and get them to market more quickly than they could manage on their own
The £6m pot will make grants available ranging from £2,500 to £50,000, covering up to 40% of eligible costs.
The previous SCORE fund invested in 40 innovative projects, supporting more than 50 companies and created new 70 jobs.
