Germany’s Wind Energy Agency WAB has cancelled this year’s Windforce 2016 offshore wind trade fair previously scheduled to take place in Bremen from 7 – 9 June.

The Windforce conference will go ahead as planned, but without an accompanying exhibition, WAB said in a statement.

Instead, WAB’s trade show activities will solely focus on WindEnergy Hamburg, held from 27 – 30 September, where this group representing Northwest Germany’s wind industry players will have a joint pavilion.

“This will permit us to focus exclusively on the conference contents,” said WAB board chairman Dr. Klaus Meier.

“At the global exposition in Hamburg, our members, exhibitors and visitors will find the optimum forum to present their products and services for offshore applications.”
