Reetec GmbH will supply aviation obstruction markers for the Wikinger offshore wind farm.
Marking 70 Adwen’s wind turbines falls under German guidelines for the identification of aviation obstacles.
Reetec will provide identification lights for the nacelles and towers, as well as the accompanying control and accessory components.
Due to rotating blades, some identification requirements are specially adapted to the wind industry. Each nacelle will have two night lights flashing red.
In addition, Wikinger’s turbine towers will be equipped with lights in such way that they cannot be be covered by the rotor blades.
