Specialist Marine Consultants Ltd (SMC) has appointed Sebastian Rae as its Business Development Manager.
This is a new role for SMC, who provides marine consultancy services to the offshore energy, oil & gas and marine sectors, and Rae will be tasked with continuing to develop SMCs core business offering whilst also investigating potential new streams of work and synergetic partnerships with other SME’s.
Rae has previously worked at Infield Systems and most recently RenewableUK, where he worked with partners across government and the offshore wind sector to help identify and define commercial opportunities for UK based companies, particularly SMEs, through the GROW:Offshore Wind programme.
