A Dutch subsea engineering company, Seatools, has launched a pile cleaning and dredging tool.
The Pile Dredge Tool (PDT) is capable of removing soil plugs and cleaning pre-piled jackets, such as those used in the offshore wind industry.
The system can also be used for other pile excavation operations as well, such as for the preparation of piles prior to abandonment operations.
