Dalby Offshore’s new 26m aluminium catamaran Dalby Ouse, a South Boats IOW 26m Jet built by Alicat Workboats was launched yesterday.

The vessel is the first 26-metre South Boats’ design to be built by sister builder Alicat Workboats in Great Yarmouth. This will be the twelfth vessel in Dalby’s fleet, which it will join in June.

The Dalby Ouse is powered by Twin MAN V12-1650 main engines coupled to Hamilton HM721water jet propulsion for speeds up to 30 knots and class leading bollard pull, according to the builder.

The vessel has forward and after cargo decks capable of carrying 20 tonnes of equipment, and the capacity to carry 24 passengers, with onboard accommodation for 8 passengers plus crew.
