Following earlier contracts in the UK wind sector, the Bremen-headquartered RTS Wind AG has decided to establish a British division to serve the potential in the growing UK on- and offshore sectors.
With a shortfall of qualified staff throughout the industry expected in the UK, Ivo Lippe, CEO of the RTS Wind AG, wants to be prepared and ready to offer professional solutions to the industry.
Peter Jorgensen has been appointed head of the UK division, RTS Wind Ltd., and has already started to build up the UK organisation. He brings over 20 years of experience in the industry, latterly with CPower and CWind.
RTS Wind Ltd will service both the on- and offshore sectors from their new head office in Colchester.
“Stiff challenges and great opportunities that lie ahead of us all. The whole RTS team is looking forward to master them. RTS Wind is developing from a premium service provider geared for Germany and surrounding countries to a RTS-Holding with international orientation specialised in the wind sector,” Jorgensen said.
RTS Wind AG dates back to 1997 when this sector was still new in Germany, initially supplying skilled technicians for wind energy projects from Bremen in the North of Germany.
