Siemens will present technologies and services that will help lowering the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) at the Global Offshore Wind 2016 (GOW) trade show, to be held on 21 and 22 June in Manchester.
The company will showcase new technologies in wind turbines, grid connection, and operations and services and present its enhanced portfolio of services for offshore wind power plants with focus on digital services and logistics concepts.
Michael Hannibal, CEO Offshore Wind Power of the Siemens Wind Power and Renewables Division, will be one of the presenters at the Siemens press briefing on June 22, when he will outline the company’s cost-out targets after 2020. Hannibal will also participate at the Business Leaders Debate on the same day. The debate will focus on the next steps for growth of the global offshore wind industry.
Further Siemens speakers in the GOW conference program are Paul Savvides, who will give first-hand insights into offshore wind project development, and Peter Esmann, who will focus on efficiency enhancing technical innovations of turbines and beyond.
