Statoil has awarded an international energy logistics provider Peterson with two long-term contracts to provide logistics support for the Dudgeon offshore wind farm, located in the Southern North Sea.
Peterson will deliver comprehensive logistics services including stevedoring, ship agency services, provisions delivery and transportation of personnel for walk to work security.
The company will also be responsible for the supply of fuelling services from its facility in Great Yarmouth.
Peterson recently supported the barge load-out of the 1,800Te substation for the Dudgeon offshore wind farm by providing 12 of the 72 Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMT) axles required for the operation, which was completed in July.
