In total, 130 jobs are to be filled within the next twelve months in Vattenfall’s Business Area Wind, as the company is investing EUR 5 billion in the expansion of wind and other renewable energy production.
Offshore wind projects like Sandbank wind farm in Germany, Aberdeen wind farm in the UK or Horns Rev 3 in Denmark, as well as the company’s first large-scale solar project in connection with an onshore wind farm, have led to creating new jobs in commercial and technical areas and the company has already begun the hiring process for these new positions, with more than 600 employees already working on renewable energy projects within the Business Area Wind.
