The 7th annual Offshore WIND Conference (OWC) started on Monday, 24 October, in Amsterdam RAI, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The theme of the two-day event, part of the annual Offshore Energy & Exhibition Conference (OEEC), is ‘Reaching Potential’, and the conference speakers and experts will focus on business opportunities and successes within the offshore wind industry and how, together, the industry can reach its full potential.

The program of the conference spans the full supply chain, from planning and pre-construction to construction & installation, and then on to full operation and maintenance. Each topic has it’s own session with expert speakers. The conference will be concluded with a forecast for the offshore wind industry after 2020.

During OWC, more than 15 expert speakers and over 250 industry professionals will discuss what is needed to reach large scale offshore wind energy deployment.

This year’s speaker faculty includes representatives from Vattenfall, Dong Energy, Siemens, TenneT, Van Oord, The Carbon Trust, BVG Associates, Gemini, VBMS, Bloomberg, Port of Ostend, and many more.

Plenary sessions during both days will be alternated with networking opportunities.
