Acta Marine Wind Services has taken over the management of a 10-unit strong Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) fleet from Workships Contractors.
Acta Marine acquired the vessels in early 2015, after the takeover of Offshore Wind Services B.V. (OWS) and its UK-based subsidiary OWPMS Ltd., when the company was also renamed to Acta Marine Wind Services B.V.
The daily management of Acta Marine’s CTV activities then remained with Workships Contractors, which had been providing the services to OWS prior to the takeover.
From 1st January 2017, all CTV Commercial and Operational Management will be conducted by Acta Marine’s team in Rotterdam.
In May 2015, Offshore Wielingen and Offshore Waddenzee were the first of ten former OWS crew transfer vessels that had been painted in their new Acta Marine colors.
