Portugal-based WavEC Offshore Renewables and LOC Group, headquartered in London, UK, have entered a partnership with a focus on marine renewable energies, especially offshore wind.
WavEC said it believed that the partnership will benefit the offshore wind sector through the expertise that both parties bring to the market.
António Sarmento , President of WavEC, said: “We feel certain WavEC will complement LOC. The pooling of knowledge and experience of WavEC and LOC will assure successful projects and a significant contribution to the industry”.
In September 2016, LOC won its first ever offshore wind contract in the Asia Pacific region, after being appointed as the marine warranty surveying service provider for the Tamra offshore wind farm, located off the coast of Jeju Island in the Republic of Korea.
