Vattenfall has invited tenders for the installation of foundations for three projects in Denmark: Kriegers Flak in the Baltic Sea, and Vesterhav Nord and Vesterhav Syd in the North Sea.
The suppliers will be in charge of installing monopile foundations, as well as transition pieces for Vesterhav Nord and Vesterhav Syd comprising 25 wind turbines respectively, and for Danish Kriegers Flak comprising 75 turbines.
In the tender, Vattenfall will ask the candidates to propose bids either for Lot 1 and Lot 2 together, only for Lot 3, or for all three lots combined. Lot 1 and Lot 2 are separate Lots for separate projects but will be managed and will carry a risk profile as one project.
The contract will begin on 1 January 2019 and will end on 31 December 2021. It is not subject to renewal.
The deadline for applications is at 20:00 (CET) on 11 October 2017.
Vattenfall recently issued two pre-qualification calls for monopile foundations and transition pieces for the above three projects.
The installation at Vesterhav Nord, Vesterhav Syd and Kriegers Flak is expected to be carried out in 2020 / 2021.
