ISC Consulting Engineers signed a framework agreement for consultancy services with DONG Energy on 1 September. The contract will run for six years.
The new agreement, signed after ISC won an EU tender competition, covers engineering consultancy services for offshore wind farm substations, including both foundations and topsides, as well as engineering services related to design of wind turbine foundation structures.
ISC Consulting Engineers said that they performed the engineering design for around 50% of all offshore substations: in fabrication, installed offshore or in fabrication globally, amounting to 23 in total.
