K2 Management and Prevailing have entered into an agreement under which K2 Management will acquire the UK-based yield analysis consultancy, the companies informed, leaving the acquisition price undisclosed.
K2 Management said the acquisition is a part of its global growth strategy.
“Acquiring Prevailing is a natural next step in strengthening K2 Management’s service offerings to our clients and will support Prevailing’s customers throughout the life cycle of their projects” , said Henrik Stamer , CEO of K2 Management.
“Prevailing has unique competencies when it comes to yield analysis and due diligence, which will deliver added value to the clients served by this stronger K2 Management team,” Stamer added.
Co-founder at Prevailing, Ivar Rush , will join K2 Management as Director, Analysis Services.
“K2 Management and Prevailing share the same values in terms of quality, client satisfaction, adding value to projects and developing our employees,” Rush said. “Combining forces will contribute to our common goal in being the preferred independent owner’s engineer and lender’s technical advisor for energy projects across the globe.”
Prevailing has been involved in energy yield analysis for more than 1,200 projects in over 30 countries, the two companies stated.
