Atlas Professionals has officially acquired Programmed Marine offices in Houston, Aberdeen, Dubai and Singapore, while the joint venture in Australia and New Zealand will remain as Programmed Marine.

Atlas Professionals signed the final agreement with Programmed Marine for the acquisition of its international activities in July this year.

“Through the collaboration of our subsidiaries and specific acquisitions, Atlas Professionals has been able to grow and strengthen its presence within the Energy, Marine and Renewables industries,” said Marcel Burghouwt , CEO at Atlas Professionals.

According to the company, Programmed Marine’s experience in the provision of personnel to vessel and marine activities, drilling/rig operations and offshore construction projects has proven to be a fit with the business activities of Atlas Professionals.

General Manager International of Programmed Marine, Matt Riding , said: “The synergy between Programmed Marine and Atlas Professionals has proven to be very successful. I am looking forward to continue growth in these challenging times and welcome the unified brand to further strengthen our niche market position worldwide.”

Formed following the acquisition of the SKILLED Group by Programmed in October 2015, Programmed Marine brings together experience from Programmed Marine, previously Total Marine Services, and SKILLED Offshore, former Offshore Marine Services.
