Not all heroes wear capes, and not all sunsets look (and feel) the same. Especially when we realise we live in an era of wind turbines spinning at sea, allowing us to turn on our lights while knowing our homes are powered by clean energy, and on top of that we now have one more image of a sunset that was not the luxury previous generations had.
Our Photo of the Day shows one such sunset in the United States, featuring the country’s first offshore wind farm – the 30MW Block Island Wind Farm built by Deepwater Wind – on the winter day of 3 January.
