Vattenfall Issues Marine Coordination Call

Swedish offshore wind developer and operator Vattenfall has issued a contract notice for provision of marine coordination services offshore several European countries.

Swedish offshore wind developer and operator Vattenfall has issued a contract notice for provision of marine coordination services offshore several European countries.

The 36-month contract is scheduled to begin on 1 January 2019 and cover Vattenfall’s activities in Denmark, Germany, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, and France. In case of France, the potential supplier has to show the ability to provide local content.

Vattenfall has options to extend the contract two times by one additional year, or one time by 24 months.

The intention of the framework agreement is to cover all existing wind farms, but also future projects in Vattenfall’s pipeline.

The tender is divided into two separate lots. Lot 1 covers operations and maintenance + optional construction, and Lot 2 covers project construction.

Interested parties have until 5 July to respond to the contract notice .
