Proserv has set up an office at the OrbisEnergy hub in Lowestoft, UK, for its renewables division.
According to Proserv, the expansion from nearby Great Yarmouth is a result of the growing operation of the company’s renewables unit in the offshore wind industry.
“Proserv is well known in the oil and gas industry, and with this move we are making a clear commitment to renewables. Offshore wind is a crucial market for Proserv and being based at OrbisEnergy will ensure that we are well positioned to provide a fully integrated and seamless service to offshore wind operators and service companies,” said Paul Cook , General Manager at Proserv Renewables.
“Our new location will allow us to further build on our capabilities and presence in renewables, not just in the East of England, but across the globe. This will become key as we implement our growth strategy and become embedded in the industry.”
Opened in 2008, OrbisEnergy is a renewables hub and an industry incubator owned by Suffolk County Council and managed by enterprise agency Nwes in partnership with Nautilus Associates. It is close to a number of developing offshore wind farms.
