EMS Maritime Offshore (EMO) has taken over agency services for the service operations vessel (SOV) Windea La Cour in the port of Eemshaven, the Netherlands.
The news comes a few days after the German company received accreditation from the authorities to carry out all agency duties for the 88m long vessel.
“We are more than happy to do our first vessel clearance as agency for Windea La Cour, operated by our Windea-Partner Bernhard Schulte Offshore under charter of our good client Siemens!,” EMO said in its social media announcement.
Windea La Cour is the first in a series of service operation vessels for Bernhard Schulte Offshore, who named the vessel in 2016.
Shortly after, the vessel sailed out for the first service campaign at the 600MW Gemini offshore wind farm in the North Sea.
