SSE plc has reopened the Beatrice Partnership Fund and is inviting local Highland and Moray communities in Scotland to apply for grants.
Groups and organizations in the two regions are welcome to apply for grants amounting to between GBP 10,000 and GBP 50,000.
This deadline for the submission of applications is 25 April by 12:00 local time.
The fund, associated with the 588MW Beatrice offshore wind farm, is part of a wider package of benefits offered by Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited (BOWL), the joint venture behind the project.
It supports projects which promote skills development, community energy developments or improve the built and natural environment, SSE said.
The Beatrice offshore wind farm, currently under construction some 13km off the Caithness coast, will feature 84 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines.
The 588MW project is expected to be fully commissioned in Spring 2019.
