Atlas Professionals has secured a contract to provide marine coordination personnel for the construction and operation of Vattenfall’s offices in Europe.

According to Atlas, the contract covers the full marine coordination for all offices in Europe, mainly in Denmark, Germany, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and France.

The marine coordinators will be responsible to track and coordinate vessel traffic, helicopters and offshore personnel to any of the Swedish company’s existing wind farms and future projects.

The three-year frame agreement, set to commence on 1 March, includes options for a two-year extension.

“We are very pleased that Vattenfall has selected Atlas Professionals to support and supply their Marine Coordination services for their European projects. We are committed to ensure all deliverables and objectives are met, while working in a safe environment,” said Martine Rondeel , Commercial Director Renewables at Atlas.

Atlas Professionals said it provides and manages marine coordinators from the office in Bristol, the UK, in close cooperation with its Dutch office, where the renewables teams are based.
