3sun Group is set to mobilize its teams to support MHI Vestas during turbine installation at the Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm.
According to the UK company, offshore installation and completion teams will shortly be mobilizing for the 269MW project.
Deutsche Bucht comprises 33 MHI Vestas 8.4MW turbines located some 95km northwest of the Borkum Island in Germany.
The project will feature 31 monopile foundations and two mono bucket foundations, becoming the first offshore wind farm to test this type of foundation structure under commercial operating conditions.
The 269MW wind farm is scheduled to be fully operational by the end of the year.
