LOC Group has appointed RV Ahilan to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who will continue leading the company’s renewables business activities.

Ahilan previously held the role of Joint CEO at the company, alongside Jerome Rutler, who will take up the position of Deputy CEO overseeing Operations and Mergers & Acquisitions.

The company said its aim is to put a greater market focus on the renewables, shipping and oil & gas sectors.

“I am really excited to take the helm today at an exciting time for LOC Group and the sectors in which we operate, as we look to broaden our services offering and geographical presence, make acquisitions to build on our strong international platform and continue to deliver the best possible service to our clients,” said Ahilan .

Ahilan served as Executive Vice President of the Renewables Advisory Division at DNV GL, President of GL Garrad Hassan and MD of GL Noble Denton in Americas and Europe before joining LOC Group in February 2016.

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with Ahilan and the wider LOC team, as we look to build on the strong foundations in place and achieve further growth across our divisions,” Rutler stated.

“We will continue to pursue inorganic growth opportunities as appropriate and will look to enhance our offering by targeting growth sectors where we already have a strong international network. We have had a strong first half of the year and intend to keep building on this momentum over the rest of 2019.”
